I really don't know where to begin. Traci showed such professionalism at all times. There was one day when the doctors told my family that it may be time to say our last good-byes. Traci came in the hallway by the ICU/CCU waiting room. She saw my face as I was talking to my wife and knew something was wrong. She went back to my dad's room and told the doctors they were wrong and to look at the big picture. Through her determination and advocacy, she made the doctors realize the fight was not over. Traci also made it a point to check on my dad on her days off, while she was training students, or even after her meeting. I believe that things happen for a reason and I believe that God put Traci in our lives to fight when we were emotionally beat down. St. Francis is truly blessed to have her on staff. She was there to laugh, cry, and hug someone when needed. Traci Mapp is truly a Godsend. An angel put on earth to help the wounded.
