The patience, education and support Traci has given to my parents is amazing. They are in their 80s and sometimes challenged to navigate the healthcare of today. My dad needed an Aortic Valve and was a candidate for the TAVR procedure. During the work-up period he became confused about where and when to be for a radiologic procedure. He not only missed his appointment but was wandering around Carle enjoying watching all of us work. Traci hunted him down and escorted him to the right location after rescheduling him on that same day since he lives 1.5 hours away.

...We found that he was not a candidate for the size TAVR valve that we are doing here and he needed to go to Northwestern in Chicago. The appointment happened very quickly and there was not time to get all of his records/films where they needed to be even with overnight delivery. Traci was on her way to a meeting just outside Chicago and went out of her way to hand deliver the records downtown so they would be there for the appointment that day. Wow!
