Tracie was a true advocate for her patient during a very stressful time. The patient was 25 weeks pregnant with a serious medical condition that required immediate treatment. Although, the procedure the patient required could have been done at Beaumont Hospital Troy, Tracie knew that if it was necessary to deliver the baby, the infant would have more neonatal resources at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Tracie discussed this with her manager and the patient's physician, explaining the woman's situation and concerns. Thanks to Tracie, the patient was transferred and felt her needs were being met.
