When accessing my port, if it is not working, Mrs. Tracy stops to let me calm down for a second and reassures me that everything is okay and going to be okay. This may be by rubbing my arm to calm me down or even praying with me. While receiving blood transfusions, I love to watch Shrek. We sing the Shrek songs together. I am in Nursing School myself, so Mrs. Tracy always gives me advice. Every child at Children's deserves a Mrs. Tracy in their life. She is an amazing nurse. Always going above and beyond for her patients to make sure they are okay and that they feel comfortable.
