The demands and hardships placed on the shoulders of nursing can be overwhelming, even during normal times. Saying that those demands have increased during the COVID pandemic would be a tremendous understatement.
As the OBS team members were given the opportunity to float off the unit in order not to have the sole responsibility of caring for COVID patients every day, Tracy was among the first to volunteer to stay on the unit with her team. Tracy handles all tasks with such a positive attitude and always has a smile on her face. She has shown such compassion caring for our COVID patients and helping her team. Throughout the height of COVID, Tracy has worked extra, helping the unit and her team. She is a joy to work with and a great asset to the CHI St. Joseph team!
