I am writing this as her Manager. The nature of the patients she deals with is complex and often palliative. One of her patients – she has consistently gone above and beyond, supporting him and visiting him in her free time, washing his clothes, and providing him with the phone to speak with his son in the UK. The patient had no family here and needed support in his final weeks. She has gone beyond her role of organizing his care through the clinic by providing essential items and working with other team members at CCAD to care for this patient.
