I brought my husband in for a magnesium infusion. His blood pressure was too low and his doctor had to be contacted. First his doctor said to go back home and come another day when his blood pressure was higher. My husband was weak and light headed and was adamant about not going home until something was done. Tracy began making arrangements to take us to the ER so my husband could get immediate attention. In the meantime, my husband called his doctor and talked to him. Finally, the doctor talked with Tracy to give my husband an IV to build up his blood pressure then give him two magnesium bags. Each bag takes 2 hours. We first got to the hospital at 1:20pm; after all the back and forth, we ended up staying there until 8pm. Tracy stayed after hours to make sure my husband was taken care of. She made sure he received all the fluids and magnesium that was ordered and that blood work was done. She showed great concern for my husband's wellbeing and my comfort while we waited. I'm proud to nominate her for going beyond the call of duty for my husband.
