Wednesday evening a patient arrived from OR ventilated in Critical Condition requiring two (2) RNs for clinical care. Another vascular post-op patient was in PACU that also needed immediate clinical nursing attention. Tracy from OR volunteered to help with my Vascular patient and started KtBulus - called Blood bank and attended to the patient until I was able to do so myself. Tracy sat at the patient's bedside reassuring patient while performing necessary clinical care. She went above & beyond.
