Tracy has been a nurse for thirty-one years. She has spent twenty-nine of those years as a nurse at BRMC and came to work here just six months after the hospital opened its doors for the first time. She began her career here on the Medical/Surgical Unit where she stayed for twenty-three years. For the past six years, Tracy has been working in the Surgery and Pre-Operative areas of the hospital.

Tracy was nominated by a patient having surgery at BRMC who was impressed by the exceptional care that Tracy provided to her while in the Pre-Op area. Tracy always puts patients first and goes out of her way to ensure that patient needs are met. When asked what she likes best about being a nurse, Tracy stated, "I love working with patients!"
