Tracy's involvement went above the usual everyday care at the bedside. She was professional and remembered me from before and knew I wasn't a complainer. She did everything to make me feel cared for. She knew I was in back pain, but no back x-ray had been done. She went to the doctor about my back pain and a back x-ray was done immediately. She studied my history and presented the facts to the doctor and RN. Her empathy and concern were reassuring. Tracy exemplifies what a nurse should be. She was compassionate and caring.
