She goes out of her way to make sure the best care is given and is assertive with family members/Veterans when she needs to be. She will tell them how it is and the importance of safety and well-being for the Veteran.
She has changed lives. Through education and genuine caring, she has impacted the lives of her Veterans and their caregivers/family. She provides education and resources to help family work with their loved ones to live their best possible lives.

She takes the time to call her Veterans personally, especially when they are going through a rough time, transitioning towards the end of life, and family needs that extra support. Her Veterans and their families are her number one priority.

She juggles multiple clinics, chronic conditions in the elderly (many of which have CAN scores exceeding 90), takes on alerts personally when other team members are bogged down. She is cognizant of the team dynamics and workload and helps spread out alerts to not overburden any one person. She walks the walk and does not expect anything from her team that she would not be willing to do herself.

She is amazing. She is incredibly smart and able to provide Veterans with information at their level of understanding. Her Veterans and her co-workers love her. She goes out of her way to make sure the best care is given and is assertive with family members/Veterans when she needs to be. We have a lot of Dementia patients, and she will do everything she can to help them and their families make good choices and have as much quality care as possible. She helps change lives for the better!
