November 2024 Honoree
Tracy L McClintock, RN
Tracy McClintock was remarkable. She was the most caring, thoughtful person I have ever had while at a hospital. While I had many great caregivers during my recent stay, Tracy stands out. From the moment she walked on shift, she immediately greeted me with a warm smile. She checked on me frequently. She tried to relate to me. She advised me of my options and described my available medications or what she was administering. She had someone training with her, too. She was calm and had a positive demeanor with her trainee. She seemed thorough, and the trainee seemed engaged in her direction. Tracy made a point to make me cold washcloths using ice because of my migraine. She helped pack my things. She didn't just call a tech to help. She wanted to be there. She also wanted to tell me bye when I was being discharged. I absolutely adore her and would have been an anxious mess without her reassurance. I felt safe in her care and felt as a patient; she would advocate for me and do the right thing. She is personable and professional, with true care and compassion and those are such hard qualities to find. Thank you so much, Tracy. I wish we had more of you in this world!
Thank you, Tracy L, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
