I recently had surgery at Sky Ridge Medical Center, having had several surgeries in the last ten years I guess my stress and worry were evident to my nurse, Tracy who came and got me to prep for surgery. While weighing me in I told Tracy how afraid I was. She proceeded to reassure me how great robotic surgery was, how my doctor was top in his field, had less recovery time, and how everything would be fine and no worries! I started to believe her and felt much more relaxed.

My sister who brought me and had planned to wait in the waiting room while I was in surgery was told that the restaurant was closed and shared that she would have to leave to get lunch while I was in surgery, which upset me. I was hoping they could wait in the waiting room. Tracy heard this and offered to go and then brought back lunch and drinks for both of them and paid for them, she would not accept re-payment. I do not think I would have gotten through the day without her. Tracy’s kindness, compassion, and professional attitude were all over the top. She was the best! Love her.
