Tracy is an excellent nurse and role model. She has a calm and professional demeanor, and she is easy to talk to. She is a supportive preceptor and serves as a great resource for other nurses on night shift. Each time we get hand-off reports from Tracy, she does a thorough job addressing each aspect of our safety checks. She gives a comprehensive report that contributes to providing continuity to patient care. Patients often give positive feedback about how respectful Tracy is of their needs, especially during the night shift period which can be challenging.
Tracy has taken on additional roles, such as joining the 8NE Skin Team. In this role, she does a great deal of patient and nurse education about infection prevention, helping to ensure compliance with best practices regarding hygiene and skin care.
Tracy really cares about her patients, and it is evident in the care she provides. Her actions match her compassion and dedication to quality nursing care.
