Tracy took care of my mother for almost her entire stay at hospice. She not only worked diligently to make sure she was comfortable but treated us like family. She told me when we first met that she would treat my mom exactly how she would treat hers and that’s exactly what she did. Each day, we kept thinking my mom would be going home with hospice, and each day brought new concerns that kept her inpatient. I came in one morning to find a butterfly design hanging on the wall above my mom’s bed and a Bible by her side. I loved this touch and actually thought that a family member had brought it in, only to learn later that Tracy had brought it in for my mom. The next day, she brought a vase with beautiful flowers to set at my mom’s bedside. These were just little touches that made a big difference. This was all on top of warm, compassionate care. Tracy is truly where God intended her to be. Oh, and she also sang Amazing Grace at the bedside when my mom passed.
