I nominate Tracy Murphy, RN, as a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award. She made my husband who had cancer surgery feel as though he was her only patient. She took the time to meet the kids and grandkids, and gave words of comfort and encouragement to all.
When we needed her, or something for pain, she tried to get it as soon as possible, which she did.
We have been to Aurora Two Rivers many times for procedures and have never encountered such a nurse so overly giving. If no one else has nominated Tracy before this, it is a shame. I am sure this is the way she tries to be with all her patients. We always knew exactly what was going on.
