December 2023 Honoree
Tracy Phillips, BSN, RN, CPN
Tracy was my daughter's nurse many times during her month-long admission. She continuously showed so much care for my daughter, above what her job requires of her. Tracy constantly advocated for the best care and treatments for my daughter, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, provided comfort to me during rough moments, and always checked in when she had the time.
She was not my daughter’s nurse for the second cycle of chemotherapy, but she took the time to speak with the other nurses about the complications that came with the first cycle, came in to check on her progress, and made sure that I was doing okay. Tracy is so full of knowledge, joy, compassion, and patience. During long days and rough times, she constantly brought so much light to me and our family. I will never be able to say enough good things about Tracy. We were so very blessed to have her as our daughter’s nurse.
