Tracy Placido RN is a valued team member of the San Dimas Community Hospital and especially to her coworkers in the Intensive Care Department. What is even more striking is the nomination she received from a patient's family and also from the patient herself. The family described her as “always knowing and anticipating our mother's needs even before the need arose”. The patient described her as making a overwhelming situation easier to handle. In addition to the surprise honor of receiving the DAISY Award, the patient was able to come in for the ceremony. No pun intended - that was indeed icing on the Cinnabon!! Thank you Tracy for your extraordinary care to the patients and for your team spirit to all who work with you!!!
