Tracy Richter, RN

Tracy was off work the night she responded and went above and beyond. We had a domestic violence case where two baby boys were involved. That night, I was working with a Wings representative trying to find a shelter for the mother and her children. We finally found her a safe place but could not arrange transport because we did not have car seats available. I left that night with the plans of keeping the victims overnight until car seats could be obtained. When I got home, I reached out to as many contacts as possible looking for car seats. Tracy immediately responded. When she called me, however, she was already driving to ABMC with the seats. I ended the night feeling immense gratitude and love for Tracy’s passion and tenacity to serve. She did this without hesitation and exemplifies the heart of what nursing is about.
