Tracy Sandeson wasn't what I expected when she began caring for my dying father. In the end however, Tracy was exactly what my father and I needed to get through his last days. Tracy's straight-forward and honest manner, combined with her genuine heart, made my father's last days about love, understanding, companionship and compassion.
Not only did Tracy impact me and my father, she made a lasting impression on my daughter who has changed her career plans from going to medical school and becoming a surgeon to become a nurse. Because of Tracy's example, my daughter was able to take something painful and turn it into something positive with the goal of giving to others what Tracy gave to our family.
