My grandson was admitted for a total of three nights. At that time, two of those nights we had the privilege of having a wonderful nurse, Traina. She always knocked on the door and had a smile. Yes, even though she wore a mask you could see her smile through her eyes. My grandson was so sick. I had lots of questions about the tests, the outcome, and how long before I got answers. She was very knowledgeable; I was so thankful.

Before the end of our stay, she had won my grandson over, even getting to hold him. It was his choice, and he doesn't just go to anyone! Not only did Traina take care of his needs but also mine. I had to work and didn't get to eat supper before I came to the hospital to spend the night. I asked if there was a microwave so that I could prepare my bag of popcorn. Traina brought me popcorn and a coke. I guess she saw I was hungry and asked me if I have had supper. I told her I was ok, and my husband was going to bring me something but didn't get to due to the weather. I assured her I was ok. The next thing I knew she comes in with a sandwich and chips! Wow, how awesome! She was an awesome nurse for my grandson and cared for my needs also!
