My dad is 94 years old and caught Covid just two days before Christmas. We have been so worried about him and really needed some details to understand how he was doing. Tram has gone out of her way to inform us of how he’s doing. This alone is amazing, and we appreciate it so much. But the reason I am nominating her is because my dad has some dementia and needs people who really understand that he is still a whole person but can’t do a lot of things on his own. She noticed his need for verbal cues for certain things, like using the urinal for example. She was so respectful of him, protecting his dignity but also speaking to him in ways he could easily understand. And I was so appreciative that she quickly grasped his needs and treated him with such deep respect. She is also so kind and competent, helping him medically but emotionally as well. She has been so joyful, so attentive, so kind. I really could not imagine a better nurse for my dad. And for our whole family! I have always received excellent care at Providence facilities. Tram is such a fantastic example of the extra care, the truly loving care that makes a big difference to people like my dad and us, his family. And it takes a lot of emotional competence to serve in this way. She was amazing!
