Trang was called to the ER to take care of a 22 week gestation baby that was born prematurely at home. The baby was too early to live, but the father begged for them to save their baby. The mother had stage 4 cancer and was losing ground quickly and this baby was their only hope for a child together. Trang did all humanly possible to save the baby, but quickly realized her real patient at this point was mom and dad. The baby lived a few short hours and during that time, Trang lovingly knelt and prayed with the father as he sang hymn after hymn to his baby. Trang sweetly helped him say goodbye to his daughter as she held his hand. The family sent Trang a card "Thank you so much for your sympathy and comfort that you gave us and also for going the extra mile for baby C. We will think of you often when our hearts ache and know God is with us. We pray that God blesses you.
