Travis is the definition of everything a nurse should be. Last week, Dad was in a horrible car wreck and after multiple bad experiences at ER's, our faith in healthcare was fading quickly. Travis absolutely restored our faith during the 3-4 days Dad was in ICU. No matter how busy he was and how full his plate was, he took the time to explain everything to us. We had so many concerns and questions. Travis never left the room without making sure we completely understood everything that was going on.
On top of taking such wonderful care of his patients, Travis was training another sweet nurse and teaching him everything he knows. We absolutely feel that Travis is a true DAISY Nurse. He is a tremendous asset to your hospital and the SICU floor. Everywhere I go within Covenant, I see that your mission is to care for "the body, mind, and spirit." Travis does not take that statement lightly and embodies all of it.
We will be forever grateful and won't forget Dad's amazing nurse, Travis in the SICU!
