The patient’s G tube got pulled out accidentally. Travis thought fast and had a new tube in very quickly. I was so upset, Travis calmed me down and explained things. Sometimes repeatedly till I understood. As the time came close to going home, he instructed me on how to give the patient’s meds and then would watch me give it. He explained what med was being given and why he took it.

Travis stepped up during a stressful COVID staffing time and volunteered to work on other units as needed. He is an organization team player.
