I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Travis from the post recovery unit. Nurse Travis is understanding, friendly and patient. He was there next to my bed at both of my surgeries. As I woke up from each of my surgeries, Nurse Travis was there ready to take care of me with his big contagious smile. His smile gave me the reassurance that everything went well and that everything was going to be ok. After taking care of the other patients, he would come back to talk to me about family and other topics that we were both interested in. As I lay there waiting for a room to stay overnight after my second surgery, I became cold. He came over with a warm blanket. He also took the time to make a phone call to my wife and mom, letting them know that I was in good hands and awake. He visited me the next morning to make sure I was ok.

Nurse Travis went beyond his duties as a nurse, he treated me like a friend. He exemplifies what nursing should be and he is an example of what makes AHGL the best!

His diligence and quick response were pivotal in saving our patient's leg today. I wish to recognize Travis as an exemplary team member who always provides outstanding patient care. I spend my share of time in the PACU, and I am always comforted with the knowledge that my patients will be cared for by excellent individuals such as Travis.
