March 2025 Honoree
Trevor Doty, BSN, RN
When I got admitted to the hospital, I wasn’t able to walk or move at all. We had been to several places searching for answers. It took two and a half months to get a diagnosis. Coming to Barnes was the answer to our prayers. Trevor Doty was my nurse on the second day I got my IVIG infusion. Trevor always checked on me at least every hour as my nurse. If I needed anything, Trevor didn’t expect anyone else to do it. He put me on the bedpan, would get me water, or just anything I needed. I didn’t have to use the call light because he was always knocking on my door and checking to see if I was alright. One thing that Trevor always did was smile. He is a real asset to Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Thank you, Trevor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
