Trevor stepped up for our patients and department in an impressive way on day one, by volunteering to care for our first COVID patient in the ICU. This patient was extremely sick in a time that was very uncertain for our staff. With the stress of logging test results, the pressure was on to navigate the most effective PPE protocols while demonstrating compassionate, calm care. Trevor stepped up not only on this day, but for many patients and many days beyond, and continued to volunteer for shifts in the COVID Unit. Trevor, thank you for being a strong advocate for our patients, for us, and for nursing.
