Our son went into Glenfield straight after birth. He had a rare heart condition and his journey was extremely different to most. Our son sadly passed away at 8 weeks old on the PICU. Throughout the entire journey, Tricia supported us and worked with us and would even challenge other health care professionals to ensure the highest standard of care was given to our son.
Tricia was extremely compassionate and empathetic. Always viewing our journey with a holistic approach to ensure the best possible outcome. The decision was made to withdraw our son's life support. Tricia stayed beyond her working hours to support us and allowed us to have a bittersweet ending with our son. Tricia goes above and beyond.
