I celebrated by 90th birthday here at St. John's on the 7th floor. When Tricia became aware of my birthday, she set about creating a wonderful surprise. Using money from her own pocket, she purchased a birthday banner, a beautiful bouquet of roses and a card which staff members signed. On the day of my birthday, I was wheeled out to the desk at IMC. It was decorated for my birthday. Staff members presented me with a strawberry cake baked by Tricia. As I blew out the candles, they sang happy birthday.
I am still amazed by her caring and willingness to go far beyond the call of duty. My 90th birthday will always be a beautiful memory.
