Trish Coniglio, RN was my nurse in PACU, after my gallbladder surgery. She was the most caring and considerate nurse I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My daughter, sister, and son-in-law are all nurses and I am a pharmacist, so, I have met quite a few RNs over my 40 years of hospital experience. Her compassion and caring sweet disposition put me at ease and facilitated my post-operative experience. I had some post-operative medical problems and she alleviated my fears. She even went so far as to stay with me three hours after her shift was over. Trish also went above and beyond her call of duty and went and spoke with my wife and helped explain what was happening and why I was being admitted. My wife really appreciated that and said she was so loving and such a calming nurse. Henrico Doctors' is fortunate to have a nurse like Trish and we were fortunate also to have her as our nurse. I personally thank Trish, so much, and I thank Henrico Doctors' for having a nurse of her excellent caliber. Hospitals need more nurses like Trish and all patients would benefit greatly from them.
