trish garner, CFRN
Trish is an active flight nurse and the educational trainer/coordinator for the Air Link med crew. She has been doing this for many years and it's not an easy task. Trish takes this responsibility very seriously and does an excellent job.
In addition to maintaining policies, procedures, and setting up Air Link's required training/competencies/clinical experiences/mandatory education/ skills labs/ invasive procedures. Trish takes it upon herself to constantly update her own education by listening to podcasts and searching the internet for most current educational opportunities. She then passes along the information to the rest of the med crew. Trish will then take the time to sit down with each of us to discuss what we have learned and how to apply it to our jobs to better care for our patients.
Trish makes a special connection with all of her patients. She often will correspond with them throughout their entire healing process.
Trish has significantly touch the lives of countless patients. Not only her owns patients, but ones she has never seen or met. She accomplishes this by holding the entire Air Link team to a high educational standard, constantly pushing us to be the best we can be.
To say the least she is thoughtful, compassionate, and caring. We at RWMC/Air Link are very blessed to have a nurse on our team of this caliber.
