My husband found himself on the 8th floor with an case of diverticulitis…I did want to note the incredible actions, support, and guidance of two specific nurses. The first amazing nurse on the scene was Trisha Caples. Trisha not only did her job with professionalism, incredible care and immense support; but she went above and beyond the “usual” superb nursing role at St. Luke’s. She searched out guidance, support, and additional information for us. She clearly knew we were feeling a bit frazzled, and went above our physical needs and helped immensely with our emotional needs as well. In addition to personally helping us, she also brought in Anne Vines, our other amazing hero! Trisha helped us navigate the challenges we were having and was a physical and emotional advocate for us! I cannot say enough positive things about Trisha!
