I was very nervous about surgery and recovery but Tristan stood out, above and beyond making me feel needed, comfortable, and important. It was not only the big things, checking in on me often, asking how I was doing/if I needed anything, but also the little things. She always made sure my crooked socks were straight before I walked, and brushed my bedhead to make me feel 'pretty.' Who does that? Tristan does, that's who.
