Tristen serves as the primary nurse supporting Infectious Diseases patients on OPAT (outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy), ensuring timely lab monitoring, coordinating with Infusion and Home Health, and guiding patients through treatment at home.

She consistently goes above and beyond, advocating for her patients and delivering exceptional care. Tristen is highly skilled at identifying clinical trends early and intervening to prevent complications, while also maintaining strong communication with patients and families—often going the extra mile to connect with them.

She plays a key role in coordinating care across clinics, supporting both Infectious Diseases and surgical teams within and beyond the BRG system.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Tristen is known for her compassion. She builds meaningful connections with patients and families, helping them understand complex care plans and navigate challenging recoveries. She provides encouragement, reassurance, and a steady presence throughout their journey.
