Troia was the absolute best. She was so friendly and compassionate. She asked me questions about school and work and had a conversation with both me and my parents. She explained every step to me as well as why each step was being done and made my comfort her number one priority.

I was in the ED for 6 hours, but it didn’t feel like it from how enjoyable she made it for me to be her patient. She’s so bright and energetic and full of love. She was very welcoming and relatable and made me laugh a lot.

She is hands down the best healthcare worker I’ve ever been treated by in the 20 years I’ve been alive. I almost didn’t want to be discharged because I want to spend more time with her. She showed genuine interest and concern when I told her about my health issues and was determined to figure out what was wrong. She also showed genuine interest in my future career plans and even things such as the TV shows I watch.

Troia is the absolute best nurse this hospital has. This hospital is very lucky to have her. She is the template of how every healthcare worker should be in every aspect. She truly is one of a kind, and she is an unbelievably extraordinary nurse. My parents and I absolutely loved her. This award was made for her, and she is the most deserving of it.
