As a student nurse, I found Trudy to be helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. She went out of her way to explain every step in her day. Trudy also took the time to listen to patients and their families concerns and questions. Trudy truly cares about the well-being of her patients. She took extra steps with every single patient to ensure their comfort all while maintaining a positive and calm attitude. Trudy said "I think of my patients as my family, I treat them as if they were my family members." Trudy was exceptionally patient with me and seemed to truly want to educate me in what it means to be a nurse. If I were sick, I'd want Trudy as my nurse. She has a rare selflessness. Kaiser is lucky to have her.

From Nursing Instructor- Trudy is an amazing nurse. She always goes above and beyond for her patients, she is knowledgeable and kind. She also consistency created a welcoming environment for the Golden West College Nursing Students to the Irvine facility for several years. I am always grateful for the positive role modeling Trudy provides my students. Trudy never hesitated to work with students. Even when she is not assigned a student she will seek them out when a learning opportunity arisesshe is a treasure!
