My Dad is a "regular" at the Heart Hospital, having had a number of procedures and surgeries the last few years. The nursing team is always caring and supportive; however, Tuan is truly exceptional. Through sleepless days filled with uncertainty, Tuan was a relentlessly positive force. It is obvious that he genuinely cares for his patients and is able to attend to their needs efficiently without ever making it feel like he is going through the motions. When the hospital's power went out in the middle of my Dad's surgery, Tuan appeared right away to assure me that the team in the Cath lab had everything under control. As soon as possible after the procedure, Tuan brought my Dad coffee--- something he was desperate for after several days of fasting. The look of joy on my Dad's face was priceless. For issues big and small, Tuan provided compassionate care. His calm and reassuring demeanor inspired confidence and made a profoundly positive impact on my Dad's outcome. Tuan exemplifies nursing excellence and is an outstanding reflection on the hospital.
