Tucker Scott, RN
I would like to recognize Tucker for the exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism he provided during my visit to the Emergency Department.
From the moment he began caring for me, he treated me with extraordinary kindness, patience, and respect. He took the time to walk me through every step of my care, clearly explaining my symptoms, the tests that were being performed, and what I could expect throughout the process. His thorough explanations and calm demeanor made a tremendous difference during what was a very anxious and overwhelming experience.
What truly set him apart was his willingness to connect with me on a human level. He shared his own experience with something similar to what I was going through, helping me feel understood and reminding me that I was not alone. His compassion, genuine empathy, and calming presence brought me comfort exactly when I needed it most.
Even though the Emergency Department was extremely busy, he never made me feel rushed or overlooked. He remained attentive, approachable, and reassuring throughout my care, always wearing a smile and making me feel like I was his priority.
He went far beyond what is expected of a nurse. Because of him, I felt safe, heard, valued, and cared for—not just as a patient, but as a person. He exemplifies the true spirit of nursing through his compassion, clinical excellence, and unwavering commitment to those he serves.
Mountain View Hospital is fortunate to have a nurse like Tucker Scott on its team. I am deeply grateful for the care he provided and wholeheartedly believe he is deserving of recognition through the DAISY Award.
