Tulia went above and beyond to assist me. Although I was in pain, I have a catheter and she was very gentle. She treated me like I was a patient. She kept saying to me, no matter what I requested of her, I am here to serve you. I have never gotten that kind of response from any nurse. I just want to say that Tulia is a jewel and it has truly been a pleasure to have her as my nurse. I hope that AHC realizes how truly great she is and how well she treats her patients. I hope she is chosen as a DAISY honoree. She definitely has my vote and my family’s vote!

Tulia is a wonderful nurse. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate, and she is also kind to every patient. I deeply appreciate her support, and most of all, I want to say thank you to her for her kindness and excellent care! Thank you!

Tulia was my nurse who took me to my room. I always feel like I am bothering someone when asking for help, but she didn’t seem to mind. She was very, very understanding. She outdid herself when she brought me a huge cup of ice water that I’ve been dreaming about since this started on Monday night. I couldn’t swallow, so all I wanted was a simple glass of cold water. That, along with the meds Tulia injected, really got things going into the right direction. She has a great personality. She made me smile a few times as well. Extra points for that. She does her job well. She is obviously well-educated in her field. She just has a daytime energy that makes me feel better. All the nurses were great, honestly. Tulia is very comforting. She explains everything clearly so I know what’s going on, and keeps me in the loop. Once again, thank you to Nurse Tulia for all the help from yesterday to today.
