This morning we transported a 4-year-old via ambulance in anaphylaxis shock after receiving a 4-yr. vaccinations. The child started experiencing symptoms 5 minutes after the vaccines were administered. As you know, this could have gone very bad, very quickly. Kim Ross, MA noticed something was wrong with our patient and our team jumped into action!
Dr. Neff was amazing. She was calm, attentive to the patient, and made decisions quickly. Jackie Harris, Lead RN showed great leadership handling the situation and directing her team. The nurses were on point! It was impressive!
I got to witness just how excellent our team really is! I am SO proud! They saved that little boy’s life! It was truly incredible!
