Twana exemplifies what being a team player is all about. During this last year, pediatrics has taken a lot of hits. Being floated as sitters on a regular basis. Watching COVID patients pass, answering the phone and allowing families to say goodbye. We have lost staff and moral has suffered. This nurse has been a positive cheerleader through it all. She moved to night shift when I needed coverage, she stayed the night during the big storm so she could get to work, when everyone else called off she was there. She is always willing to help out. It is people like Twana that make me happy I am a nurse. Thank you, Twana.
