July 2026 Honoree
Ty Rynearson, RN, BSN
My mom has early-onset Alzheimer's. She is currently at an assisted living facility and requires more care. I am struggling to get her accepted into a nursing home due to an old diagnosis that is not current or correct.
I spoke to Ty on the phone, and he did a chart audit, compared her medications to her diagnoses, and helped me understand that the incorrect diagnosis is, in fact, incorrect. He went above and beyond to hear me out, give options for verbiage when calling these nursing homes, and said he will personally speak to the doctor to resolve this issue to ensure my mom gets the care she requires and deserves.
I am very grateful to have had him help and to have had him listen compassionately. The doctor's office is extremely lucky to have Ty on the team.
