Tylah Floyd, RN

Tylah made such a positive impact on my mother during her stay. From the moment she walked into the room, she always carried a smile and treated my mother with kindness, patience, and respect. She never made us feel rushed and always took the time to listen, not only to my mother’s concerns, but to mine as well. Her attentiveness and caring spirit brought comfort during a stressful time and truly showed how much she cares for her veterans. One thing that stood out the most was how observant and thorough she was. Tylah noticed that a medication being prepared for discharge was one my mother had a documented allergy to and immediately brought attention to it before she was sent home. That level of attention and advocacy meant everything to our family. She went above and beyond to make sure my mother was safe, cared for, and heard. Tylah truly deserves recognition for the compassion and dedication she brings to nursing.
