Tyler Angle, BSN, RN

Over the last year, Tyler has served as one of many nurses that my special buddy K has had during his admissions at Akron Children’s Hospital. During K’s 5 month long admission in 2023, Tyler was assigned to K quite often, and the care K received from Tyler was top-notch. Tyler took the time to get to know K, a 15-year-old boy who is nonverbal and communicates using his infectious smile. She learned that he loves attention, gross things, and joking around, which helped him form a special bond with Tyler. She provided K with the best care possible every single day. After having surgery at the end of September, K was welcomed to his hospital room for the night by a special welcome note from Tyler. Tyler always goes above and beyond for not just K but all of her patients. She is an amazing nurse, and we are lucky to know that!
