My mother came into StoneCrest Medical Center very sick and was told she needed to have surgery to remove a tumor that was blocking her colon. This news made us very scared and confused. We had no idea what to expect. They admitted my mother to a room and then we met her nurse, Tyler.
Tyler began to help my mother prepare for surgery very attentively. He explained everything very clearly. He told her what every medication he was giving her was for and why she was getting it, all while being very patient with my mom and all of us who were asking 100 questions. He assured us he would keep us informed and let us know when they were going to be going to surgery. He came right back in after a little bit to tell us when she was going to surgery and while she was in surgery he even came by to check on us and see if we had any more questions or needed anything. When they brought her back from surgery, Tyler was right there helping her get settled back in her bed.
Tyler never made us feel like we were a burden. He was willing to answer everything and he did it so calmly and reassuring. We could not be more appreciative of all his guidance, warmth, kindness, and knowledge. I hope he knows what a tremendous difference he made this for our family. Thank you.
