Tyler McCormick, RN

I was here visiting from out of state, and hospitalization was the last place I expected to be. I was treated with the utmost compassion and respect across the board by all members of your facility. I am eternally grateful to all the staff who provided me with excellent care. However, I would like to give a special thank you and shout out to a nurse in the Emergency Department. Being that I was there on my birthday, a special nurse made it a little easier. His compassion is exemplary, and there are a lot of nurses across the nation who could learn from him. He sat with me and provided comfort during what was probably the worst time of my life as I was visiting your area from out of state on a respite trip in memory of my husband. Nurse Tyler was amazing as he came in at the stroke of midnight and presented me with a photograph of a birthday cake as he knew it was my birthday, and he also knew I was not allowed to have anything by mouth. All his efforts were above and beyond, and at no time did I feel uncared for. Thank you, Tyler, for making me smile and feel like someone cared when I was alone and at such a low point in my life.
