I was involved in a motorcycle accident. When I finally reached ICU the pain was significant and I still had problems breathing. Tyler came to my rescue. I know the Dilaudid took away most of the pain, but Tyler helped me find a position in which I could breathe and be as comfortable as possible. I never felt like just one more patient. Tyler was personable and engaging, he cared about how I felt and had empathy for what I was going through. This was a tremendous boost to my morale and well-being. For his entire shift, I felt like he was keeping a close watch on me, which was very reassuring. It gave me confidence that I was going to be OK. Tyler was the perfect nurse at a time when I needed it.
