Tyler is a fantastic nurse. He is capable, knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate, engaging, has a great personality, and is even humorous and entertaining.
I brought my sister to Banner Desert Hospital for back surgery in February 2025. The names of her procedures were Direct Lateral Interbody Fusion and Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion. It was a 5-hour surgery, and she had a wonderful surgeon. After recovery, she was transferred to unit 2C.
Tyler Williams was her night nurse. He checked her out thoroughly and was concerned about her low blood pressure, which was 64/41. She was in much pain coming out of surgery, but Tyler told us the pain medicine would cause her blood pressure to go lower. He worked very hard until 4 am to get it up to 100/65 and higher. My sister was frightened, and she asked me if she was going to die. Tyler assured her very calmly and convincingly that she was not. Tyler used intravenous IV to flush the anesthesia out of her system.
I stayed with her overnight, and about every 15 minutes, he would peek his head into her room to check the monitor that was registering her blood pressure. By 4 am the next day, he had her blood pressure up enough for her to resume her pain medication.
Tyler is a fantastic nurse. He is capable, knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate, engaging, has a great personality, and is even humorous and entertaining. We have heard from others how incredible Banner Desert is, and now our very own experience with you has just confirmed it.
