Our son had a perforated bowel. When he came out of surgery he had an ileostomy. Very scary for a 17-year-old - not to mention his parents. Tyree was amazing! Her compassion, sense of humor, and her absolute certitude that we could handle this situation were immeasurable to all of us. Tyree is a tremendous asset to your hospital. We will never forget her kindness.

Tyree was very kind and patient with me while I had my ostomy. I hated hearing it at first, but after how Tyree treated me and acted like it was nothing made me a lot more comfortable with having the ostomy. I'm grateful to have a nurse like her and she has inspired me to follow the same career path. I only wish to be as compassionate and comforting as she is when I become a nurse.
